Frequently Asked Questions
What page sizes are available?
Over 70 presets organized into groups: North American (Letter, Legal, Tabloid, Ledger, Executive, Statement, Half Letter, Junior Legal, Government Letter, Government Legal, Oficio, Foolscap), Photo Sizes (3.5x5, 4x6, 5x7, 8x10), ISO A series (A0-A10), ISO B series (B0-B6), JIS B series (B0-B6), ISO C series envelopes (C0-C7), Envelope #10 and DL, ANSI C/D/E, ARCH A-E, and Hagaki. You can also enter custom dimensions in inches or millimeters.
Does resizing distort or stretch my content?
No. Content is scaled uniformly - width and height scale by the same factor - so your text, images, and graphics keep their original aspect ratio. The scaled content is centered on the new page.
What is the difference between Letter and A4?
US Letter is 8.5 x 11 inches (216 x 279 mm). ISO A4 is 210 x 297 mm (8.27 x 11.69 inches). A4 is slightly narrower and taller. Converting between the two is one of the most common reasons to resize a PDF.
Can I enter a custom page size?
Yes. Select Custom from the dropdown, then enter your desired width and height. You can choose inches or millimeters as the unit. The tool converts your values to PDF points (72 points per inch) automatically.
Is this processed on your servers?
No. Resizing is done entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
