Specific high-stakes documents (real estate deeds, notarial acts, some employment contracts) may require an advanced or qualified electronic signature with a certificate-based identity check.
When do I need an advanced or qualified electronic signature instead?
For formal instruments that require strong identity verification - wills, property transfers, some employment contracts, and notarial documents. If your document explicitly requires an Advanced Electronic Signature (AES) or Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) under eIDAS, or a PKI-based digital signature with a trust service provider certificate, PDFSub's simple electronic signature isn't the right tool.
